🇲🇹 PBS confirmed that MJESC will be used to select the Maltese entry for Junior Eurovision 2021. The Maltese representative will be selected on October 9, in a format that uses a combination of jury and televote.
🇲🇹 The rules of the selection are as follows:
- All artists must be Maltese nationals
- Songs may not have been commercially or publicly performed by the 1st of May 2021
- Songs must last between 2 minutes 30 seconds and 3 minutes long
- Lyrics may be written and performed in English or Maltese
The window for submissions closes on September 5. The 12 finalists will be revealed on September 19, with online voting opening at the start of October.
