(Stockholm, Sweden) – September 3rd, 2021 – The Mamas are following up the Platinum-selling success & Eurovision Song Contest entry "Move" (#1 on Spotify, Single & Radio Chart in Sweden) and their latest single “In The Middle” with a brand new single – “Sun Go Down”. The single, which is released today, is written by the same team that wrote “Move” - Melanie Wehbe, Patrik Jean and Herman Gardarvfe. On November 12th they will release their brand new EP ”We won’t let the sun go down”.

This summer we got to actually meet people and have a vacation but honestly, vacation isn’t a destination, it’s a state of mind. Earlier this year The Mamas competed once again in Melodifestivalen with the song “In The Middle” where they came 3^rd. The song got second most televotes after Tusse’s “Voices”.

During the summer they released their own version of the 60’s classic “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”. Even though it was a song with playful lyrics wrapped in a fun summery beat, it came with an important message about the journey from body shaming to body positivity; a modern take on a classic tale of the perfect beauty standards and impossible societal norms that affect our confidence, image and self-worth, and how to break away from them.

The Mamas will release their brand new EP ”We won’t let the sun go down”. Their new single “Sun Go Down” is out today.

The Mamas is a group of three power ladies - Ash Haynes, Loulou LaMotte & Dinah Yonas Manna.

After winning Melodifestivalen 2020; Sweden’s national selection for Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Move”, The Mamas have topped both the Official Single Chart and Spotify Top 50 in Sweden. Among other successes; they have gone viral on TikTok, had huge hits on the radio and had the great honour of performing for HRH Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden on her birthday earlier this summer. “Move” went straight to #1 on Spotify, iTunes and the Official Single Chart in Sweden. The song climbed the charts all over Europe and has passed 17 million streams globally. It’s officially certified Platinum in Sweden.
